The Wheelbarrow

The Wheelbarrow is a very adventurous position for those couples in an athletic mood! This position gives a man a great view of his partner's body and the penetration is very deep so it can make a small sized man seem bigger. Stimulation of the G Spot is great with the Wheelbarrow but beware if you start to feel dizzy stop and try another position.

How it works:

To get into the Wheelbarrow the woman starts on all fours while her partner picks her legs up from behind and holds them up by his waist. To relive pressure from the woman arms she can rest them on a chair. Penetration will be deep in this position and it is a great way to get a head rush!

Couples can also try the backwards Wheelbarrow by having the woman climb onto the man and wrapping her legs around him, making sure she grips tight onto him with her thighs. From here the woman slowly lowers herself backwards until her hands touch the floor with her partner holding her waist.

Some disadvantages to The Wheelbarrow can be:

  • this position is definitely for the athletic couples as it can be very strenuous and requires a lot of skill. To do the Wheelbarrow a couple need great upper strength and flexibility. Both partners need to be aligned and balanced together

  • despite the rear positions pleasures they are not very romantic and make it difficult to maintain direct eye contact, or to kiss your partner

  • some women are turned off by the sexual dominance of their penetrating partner and consider it a very unromantic position

  • over penetration may cause pain for some women
